Start with the problem

Clarify who has the problem, what outcome matters, what evidence exists, and which constraints shape the work.

Move quickly when change is cheap

For bounded, reversible decisions, make a clear choice, keep the work small, and learn from the result.

Slow down when change is costly

When uncertainty or the cost of reversal is high, examine dependencies and evidence before committing to a system-level decision.

Make the work observable

Keep inputs, decisions, validation, and outcomes legible so the next change can build on what the system already knows.
